Another Whole 30???

Guess who’s doing another Whole 30??? Yup, me! This time I’m enlisting my fiancé in the fun :) she has a hard time giving up oats, supplements, and Quest bars but I think she’s going to try this time! Also the only eating 3 meals a day. She’s used to 5-6 meals. I’m excited to get back on it. I’ve eaten like SHIT for the last two months and believe I’ve gained a good 5-10lbs. For the last two days I’ve eaten cookies and ham sandwiches. Not very nutritious. I know this is going to be tough on me …food prepping for whole 30 is time consuming for one person, but now I’ll have to do it for 2!

We are in the process of buying a house - 3 weeks from closing and I find out our financing is more than likely going to fall through. I’m completely disgusted and know my depression is going to set in. I’m hoping this whole 30 will give me something positive to focus on and keep me from putting myself in a deeper darker sugar filled hole! Wish me luck…I’ll keep you updated!

Last year of my 20s

Well, I’m back at rock bottom with my eating habits but with my 29th birthday approaching this Saturday I am determined to make a change. I need to lose 75lbs to be at my goal weight by my 30th birthday. That is totally doable with only 6lbs per month. I will enter my 30s happy and healthy. I don’t want to struggle for the next decade like I did my last. Follow me on my journey to my 30! I know the holidays will be tough, but a whole 30 planned for January!

Whole 30..round 2!

Well I was supposed to start my second whole 30 this week, unfortunately I came down with tonsillitis and haven’t had the chance to meal prep or have much of an appetite. So I guess I will start once I’m feeling better and can get prepped. I bought tons of veggies at Costco, but alas they just sit in the fridge. I hope they don’t start turning …I’m looking forward to those Brussels sprouts!

Anyone else love cauliflower pizza as much as I do? I just go ahead and eat the whole thing! (I did add cheese) so this is a tad primal not paleo. I’d have to say potatoes and dairy have been the hardest for me to stay away from! 💯 paleo 85% of the time haha

Time to get serious ..

My ankle is getting better. Time to start kicking up the cardio and when the weather cools off hitting those trails! I’m going to get my bike conditioned too so I can start putting in the miles. I can’t run as often as I would like due to bad knees..so going to train in other ways and run once a week. I also gotta get me a sand bag and start some burpee training. I’m definitely going to get out of the gym more and into the dirt! I want to be a spartan!

Missed the weights the last two days because I was so sore..but been walking my pups twice a day. Walking is about all I can do on this ankle and unfortunately by today I was limping again which made my hip hurt. I wish we had some dirt paths around where I live, that concrete tears me up. Still have shoulders and legs to get in this week. I started another dietbet online! I failed my first one, but am determined to win now. I have to lose a lil over 9lbs in 28 days. Gotta get more whole 30 style paleo and lay off all the bananas, honey, and sunbutter I’ve been eating! It officially starts tomorrow and there’s only one thing I can see messing me up …alcohol at concerts! Ill try to be good though!
